Clubs in two leagues

Hi all,

I cover the New Zealand National League and the Southern League, two same but different league. The Southern League is a regional winter qualifying league for the national spring league and the same for the Central and Northern League. 10 team (11/12 team now) participate in the National League.
For example take Coastal Spirit, what we need to do to show the leagues is:

What I'm suggesting is for it to be like:

| position1   = [[Southern League (New Zealand)|Southern League]], 2nd of 10
| season2     = [[2024 New Zealand National League#Championship phase|2024]]
| position2   = [[New Zealand National League|National League]], 7th of 10

Result
Leagues Southern League
        National League
2024    Southern League, 2nd of 10
2024    National League, 7th of 10

Breakdown: Add another Season and Position label/data parameter and one for Leagues or have League like League(s) similar to Nickname(s). Was going to say that doing this would also help show international competitions; champions league and display that? just a thought that will not go anywhere. Chairman

Hi Frietjes, SWinxy, Paine Ellsworth, Jonesey95 and anyone else willing to help. Can someone please add the option to use "Chair" and "Chairwoman" as opposed to just "Chairman" into the template please? There are football clubs with women chairs and currently only "Chairman" can be used. Helper201 (talk) 21:05, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

To editor Helper201: it appears that this has already been done. Editors may use the |chrtitle= parameter to change "Chairman" (the default) to "President", "Chairperson", "Chair" or anything that applies. What else would you see as an improvement to that? P.I. mls teams using "club" template

how can one best use this template for mls teams? currently entities operating a team owned by the mls llc are referred as "owner". the contract to operate a team is restricted and even can be terminated from one day to other, which is the contrary of ownership. somehow it would be cool to have something like delegate or whatever that thingy is called legally additionally to make the true ownership explicit especially for international readers not aware such construct does exist.
